La Dame (queen) Burrow

A comfortable slow stay unit for up to 2 adults (or infant) featuring an adjustable Tempur mattress for personalized comfort, Smart TV, WiFi, wardrobe, and modern bathroom. Stay cozy with our well-insulated unit, equipped with a kitchenette for self-catering, including a microwave, fridge, induction cooker, and electric frypan. Continental breakfast is included.  Enjoy our fully stocked mini bar of local boutique wines, beer and soft drink (charges apply).  The outdoor area has a BBQ, microwave, oven as well as a large fire pit, which is available upon request.

Our property backs onto Shoalhaven River where you can swim, fish, canoe, prospect for gold and bushwalk.  The track from our farm to river is recommended for 4WD due to sand and steep slopes.  It is approx. 2kms in length so makes a lovely bush walk or mountain bike ride (map provided in your room).

The farm is quite remote so no local takeaway services.  However, The Nerriga Hotel has great dinner facilities, Friday and Saturday night from 6pm-8pm and lunch from Wednesday to Sunday 12.30-3.30pm.  They also offer a coffee shop with savoury pastries, open Wednesday to Sunday from 9am to 11.30am.

Our house is just next door to the burrow so you will see us come and go, however we do provide full privacy.  Our 4 friendly dogs also share the yard, therefore we can't allow other animals.

Games available upon request; giant jenga, Pétanque/Bocce and giant checkers  Books also available should you just want to read as well as a telescope for star gazing.  Lots of beautiful areas to enjoy.  Mobile service is limited, we have a Telstra booster but Optus and Vodafone will be unavailable.
